On February 1, 2023 (F.R. Vol. 88 No. 21) the FMCSA issued a Supplemental Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (SANPRM) requesting additional comments (previous advance notice (ANPRM) on May 28, 2019) regarding safe integration of Automated Driving Systems (ADS) being considered for Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs).
