NHTSA Provides Additional Time for Comment to Side Underride Guard Proposal
On June 9, 2023, (Federal Register Vol. 88 No. 111; Docket No. NHTSA-2023-0012) the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued an Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) to extend the comment period for the ANPRM regarding side underride guards on passenger cars and light trucks which was issued on April 21, 2023.
