The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China have recently published updated versions of the Chinese standards covering Electronic Etability Control (ESC) systems for both light duty vehicles and heavy duty vehicles which convert these standards from GB/T standards into mandatory GB Standards

On August 21, 2026, the NHTSA published an Agency Information Collection Activities Submission to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for Review and for Approval, and a Request for Public Comment in the Federal Register (F.R. Vol. 91 No. 161; Docket No. NHTSA-2025-005) regarding Distraction by Personal Electronic Devices.
