The 85th session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE) Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) is scheduled to take place between January 11-14, 2022 and the 12th session of the UN ECE Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA) is scheduled to take place between January 24-28, 2022. Topics to be discussed at the GRPE meeting include proposed amendments to the UN ECE Regulations on light duty vehicle emissions and on heavy duty vehicle emissions, and proposed amendments to the UN ECE Global Technical Regulation (GTR) on the Worldwide Motorcycle Emissions Test Cycle (WMTC). Topics to be discussed at the GRVA meeting include updates to the UN ECE Regulations on steering systems, on advanced emergency braking systems and on automated lane keeping systems.
