Upcoming Meeting of the European Commission's Technical Committee - Motor Vehicles (TCMV)

The 96th meeting of the European Commission's Technical Committee - Motor Vehicles (TCMV) is scheduled to take place on July 5, 2022 and, for the first time in over two years, this meeting will be held as an in person, face to face meeting at the European Commission's offices in Brussels. Topics to be discussed at this meeting include a proposed amendment to EU Regulation No. 2017/1151 on light duty vehicle emissions to introduce the Euro 6e emissions requirements, a proposed amendment to EU Regulation No. 582/2011 on heavy duty vehicle emissions to introduce requirements for vehicles capable of using pure biodiesel and a new draft EU Regulation covering uniform procedures and technical specifications for the type approval of the automated driving systems of fully automated vehicles.
