The 160th meeting of the European Commission's Motor Vehicle Working Group (MVWG) is scheduled to take place on December 5, 2024. Topics to be discussed at this meeting include proposed amendments to Annex II of (EU) 2018/858, which is the Annex that specifies the EU Type Approval requirements, a proposal for additional information on tyres to be included in the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) database and an update on the current status of the amendments to (EU) 2015/758 on eCall to cover the transition from 2G/3G networks to 4G/5G networks.
