InterRegs will have a presence at this May's SAE Government and Industry Meeting held at the Loews L'Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington DC, 10-12th May 04.
On Wednesday 12th May InterRegs are co-organising a Technical Session on ITS Crash Avoidance Technologies, held 1.00 – 3.30pm in the Monet lll & lV Rooms. This session will look at the relationship between the deployment of advanced in-vehicle devices such as telematics, the changes this brings to drivers tasks, the new driver knowledge required by vehicle designers, and the utilisation of this knowledge to develop interface designs that can aid drivers and enhance their safety.
This session (schedule below) will present approaches to meet this challenge from both government and industry perspectives.
Throughout the SAE Government/ Industry Meeting, InterRegs will have a tabletop display where their Global Automotive Regulations CD will be on display for demonstration purposes - Rebecca Rubio (MD), Dave Houston (Business Development) and Miriamme Rose (Marketing) will be present. The SAE/InterRegs Standards and Regulations Award for Young Engineers will also be highlighted during this time.
