InterRegs are pleased to announce that David Hung, Technical Fellow at Visteon Corporation, is the winner of the 2009 SAE/InterRegs Standards and Regulations Award for Young Engineers.
David, aged 39, is a Technical Fellow in the advanced powertrain control and electronics product group at the Visteon Corporation where he is responsible for developing powertrain systems, including the gasoline direct injection powertrain control, and emerging engine technologies with alternative fuels. He led an industry-wide team within the SAE Gasoline Fuel Injection Standards Committee, and their efforts resulted in the publication of the industry's first worldwide SAE J2715 Recommended Practice for Gasoline Fuel Injector Spray Measurement and Characteristics.
