The 95th session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE) Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) is scheduled to take place October 14-16, 2026 and the 95th session of the UN ECE Working Party on Lighting and Light Signalling (GRE) is scheduled to take place October 20-23, 2026.

Topics to be discussed at the GRPE meeting include proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 83 on light duty vehicle emissions to correct and harmonise the Onboard Diagnostic (OBD) requirements, proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 154 on the Worldwide Harmonised Light Duty Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) to modify the fuel consumption charge depleting calculation formula and proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 49 on heavy duty vehicle emissions to improve the provisions for emissions measurement instrument validation.

Topics to be discussed at the GRE meeting include proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 48 on the installation of lighting and light signalling devices to clarify the provisions relating to exterior courtesy lamps, proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 148 on light signalling devices to prohibit the use of a manufacturer logo on side marker lamps and proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 65 on special warning lamps to introduce recommendations for the installation of amber warning lamps on agricultural vehicles.
