Throughout the SAE Gov/Industry Meeting InterRegs had a Tabletop Display where Rebecca Rubio (CEO), Dave Houston and Bob Pheiffer demonstrated InterRegs.NET, our online subscription service for immediate access to global vehicle regulations; they also highlighted our faster, more frequent updating.

InterRegs' Dave Houston and Bob Pheiffer co-organised, with NHTSA, two Technical Sessions as follows:

VEHICLE ROLLOVER AND OCCUPANT CONTAINMENT looking at the general rollover safety problem including crash avoidance and crash worthiness safety measures, with special focus on injury mitigation concerns, restraint systems and technologies associated with safety issues and restraint performance.

PEDESTRIAN SAFETY focusing on pedestrian injuries and fatalities and including information, regulations and current research relating to enhanced vehicle design and testing intended to help improve pedestrian safety.

The 2010 winner of the SAE/InterRegs Standards and Regulations Award for Young Engineers, Praveen Anumolu, of Northrup Grumman Corporation was also presented with his award during the Gov/Industry Meeting.
