Upcoming UN ECE Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA) Meeting

The 21st session of the UN ECE Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA) is scheduled to take place on January 20-24, 2025. Topics to be discussed at this meeting include proposed amendments to Regulation No. 13 on braking to introduce requirements for trailers fitted with their own electric propulsion motor, proposed amendments to Regulation No. 79 on steering equipment to clarify the requirements applicable to full power steering systems, including "steer by wire" systems, proposed amendments to Regulation No. 155 on cyber security to expand the scope of the Regulation to include agricultural vehicles of categories R, S and T and some proposed revisions to the recently adopted new Regulation on acceleration control for pedal error; Regulation No. 175.
