InterRegs are pleased to announce that our popular Legislation Implementation Dates (LID) database is now available for free to all of our website visitors.
The LID database contains information on the introduction dates for all upcoming changes to both European Union and United Nations ECE automotive legislation and allows users to create customised reports of the upcoming European legislation affecting their products.
Users can filter the information in the LID database by vehicle type (i.e. car, bus, light truck, heavy truck, trailer or component), by territory (EC, ECE or both), by subject (using the standard InterRegs subject categories), by the type of date (i.e. new type approvals date, new registrations date or both) and for a specific date range. For instance, a user could create a specific report to list all new ECE braking legislation affecting heavy trucks which have a "new type approvals" date between 2009 and 2014.
The reports generated by the LID database list each relevant legislative change in date order and include the Directive or Regulation number, its title and a brief summary of the legislative change.
Potential uses for these LID database generated reports include:
- Providing legislative inputs to assist in developing new model launch strategies and model run-out strategies.
- Monitoring requirements relating to "end of series" provisions.
