The 26th session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE) Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA) is scheduled to take place on 14-18 September 2026 and the 132nd session of the UN ECE Working Party on General Safety Provisions (GRSG) is scheduled to take place on September 28, to October 2, 2026.

Topics to be discussed at the GRVA meeting include proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation 13-H on passenger car braking to revise the potential fault and failure conditions to be considered for anti-lock braking systems, proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 79 on steering equipment to revise the Risk Mitigation Function (RMF) testing provisions and proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 157 on Automated Lane Keeping Systems (ALKS) to introduce provisions covering the activation of automated lane keeping systems in Contracting Parties other than the Contracting Party that issued the ALKS type approval.

Topics to be discussed at the GRSG meeting include proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 46 on devices for indirect vision to clarify its requirements and ensure consistency in their application, proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 159 on moving off information systems to introduce provisions to permit the component and Separate Technical Unit (STU) type approval of moving off information systems and proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation 67 on Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) fuel systems and UN ECE Regulation No. 110 on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) fuel systems to clarify the test procedure for the endurance testing of pressure regulators.
