Following the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the EU, EU automotive legislation as it applied to the UK before 11pm on December 31, 2020 was retained into UK law.
This retained/transposed legislation will become different from the EU legislation when either the retained legislation is amended by UK law or when current EU legislation is amended by the EU.
We have begun a program of adding retained/transposed EU legislation to our Great Britain service as and when the two versions of a regulation diverge. We will continue to add these retained/transposed regulations to our new 'Chronological Index - Transposed EU Regulations' index which can be found in our Great Britain service.
