The 17th session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE) Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA) is scheduled to take place on 25th to 29th September 2023 in Geneva. Topics to be discussed at this meeting include a draft resolution with guidance on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of road vehicles, the proposed introduction of new vehicle subcategories into Consolidated Resolution R.E.3 to cater for vehicles equipped with automated driving systems and proposals for new UN ECE Regulations on Driver Control Assistance Systems (DCAS) and on Urban Emergency Braking Systems (UEBS) for heavy vehicles.
