InterRegs will be exhibiting at next year's SAE Government/Industry Meeting in Washington DC, 24-26 January 2018. Rebecca Rubio (CEO) and Bob Pheiffer will be at Booth no. 6 in the Walter E Washington Convention Center, showcasing InterRegs.NET Automotive Regulations and its many time-saving and user-friendly features.
We're also co-organising a Technical Session on Automated Vehicle Safety, Levels 4 & 5 which focuses on topics related to Automated Driving Systems (ADS) that enable an Automated Vehicle to operate at SAE J3016 Levels 4 and 5 (fully autonomous - performs without a human driver). The NHTSA, Auto Alliance and Edge Case Research are among those making presentations.
The Automated Vehicle Safety Session (Code G101, Room 146 AB) will be on Wednesday 24 January at 2.30pm and topics covered include:
- Addressing the FMVSS Barrier for HAV Deployment.
- Assessment, Evaluation and Approaches to Modification of FMVSS that may Impact Compliance of Innovation New Vehicle Designs.
- Occupant and Roadway User Engagement with Level 4 Vehicles.
- Validating the Safety of Highly Autonomous Vehicles.
There will also be a Panel Discussion at the end involving the presenters and the audience.
