Upcoming UN ECE Working Party on General Safety Provisions (GRSG) Meeting

The 127th session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE) Working Party on General Safety Provisions (GRSG) is scheduled to take place on April 15-19, 2024 in Geneva. Topics to be discussed at this meeting include proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 121 on the identification on controls, tell-tales and indicators to clarify that indicators and controls do not need to be illuminated when the vehicle is not in a driving mode, proposed amendments to UN ECE Regulation No. 167 on the direct vision of M2, M3, N2 and N3 category vehicles to modify the minimum forward vision requirements and a proposal for a new UN ECE Regulation on Field of Vision Assistant (FVA) systems which project visual information onto the interior surface of the windscreen to support the awareness of the driver.
